Went in here years ago before an Exeter v Plymouth football match. This is the only time i could see this place getting busy as it feels very isolated once here. Needless to say it is now shut and is student accomodation. 5/10 montie49 - 9 Jun 2012 06:24 |
You'd have a job to have a quick one here now, its closed and boarded. Hodge1 - 1 Jun 2009 02:50 |
Popped in here for a quick one on the way back to the tation. Unsurprisingly it was busy after the game. Only Tribute was on. OK place as a stopgap but you're not going to spend any time in here. GuideDogSaint - 20 Jan 2008 01:03 |
The Landlord Colin and his good lady Karen are building up a great reputation for providing good quality entertainment on the weekends. The bar staff are very friendly and welcoming. They are also starting to do food and whilst at present this is only Monday eve (wicked chilli 1.75) and Friday eve (great curries) they are freshly prepared and only use the best ingredients. Colin has hinted that he will be doing Sunday lunches soon too. Well worth a visit! Especially you students, where else you gonna get home cooked food on your doorstep for the price. Great beer too. The smoking/decking area is well lit, heated and covered what more can you ask for. The pub is in great hands at the moment and whilst true it is still in transition it can only get better with time and of course more support. anonymous - 6 Nov 2007 10:54 |
