| have recently been going to The Old Plough Inn with my family and it has just been taken over by a young couple. They are friendly and the food good and they are so accommodating as we had my hubby's Mum's Wake there and the buffet they put on was 10 out of 10. They had a Harvest Festival yesterday with an Auction for a children's charity and a hog roast and I always feel so relaxed there as they are child friendly (which is a good thing as I have a rather active vocal Grandson aged 23months).I am not a pub goer and am aged 68 but can't wait to go again as they are always putting on events like "Curry evenings �10 eat as much as you like etc. Also you can purchase for a minimal amount a Loyalty Card to receive discount on your drinks etc. In other words a lovely family orientated local pub.
