| On my first ever visit to Gloucester's pubs, this Wadworth pub on the southern outskirts of the city was my first port of call. It's quite an imposing building on the outside. But it felt a little dull inside and there were only a couple of other customers. Ales are all from Wadworth - IPA, Horizon, Bishop's Tipple & 6X. FA Cup football was on the TV. | A large imposing building but a bit of a gem. A Wadworths house which offers 6 of their beers plus 3 guests with prices from �2.80 to �3.05. Outdoor seating area next to the main road. Friendly and prompt service. Worth the long walk from the station! cheshirecat - 10 Apr 2011 08:42 |
| Probably the best pub in the city of Gloucester - old building, old furniture, garden, loads of real ale, Guinness and Murphys.
