| Seemed like a friendly enough local establishment. It's another Greene King pub, that was serving their IPA & Rocking Rudolph from Hardy & Hansons. | Traditional village pub, with Greene King IPA and XX Mild on tap. Perhaps it was the weather (which was foul), but there was absolutely nobody else in the place in the late afternoon. | The pub has just been taken over and the change amazing. No more shabby kitchen - the whole place has been cleaned from top to bottom and a new paint job in the back 2 bars is giving the whole place a different feel. And the food .... wow !! The new landlord, Thomas Kilroy, is a top London chef who has worked with the likes of Anton Mossiman before opening several restaurants of his own in Katmandu.
