Lively little bar in the centre of town. The regulars are "colourfull" but I've never seen trouble there unlike the place round the corner. Friendly staff. brightboy - 26 Jun 2010 08:33 |
A great Pub, very friendly, Just three days in the UK and the publican gets you a ticket and invites you to go with him to Stamford Bridge. Beers great at a good price, look forward to going back Terryagain - 31 Oct 2009 05:56 |
Hmmmmmm. Obviously better than it was - so much so that the history has - quoite correctly - been rewritten . The medallions now are - apparently - real. So, doubtless, are the characters. And all the blond - and blonde - hair is real, not bleached. Still not my sort of place, as I indicated years ago. But politically incorrect to say so, I guess. The French have a phrase - Chacun a son gout - which, with accents and circumflexes, equates to - "Each to his own taste". I'm old and cranky - and this isn't my taste. That is how it is. I'm sure a lot of people enjoy it. railtracksurvivor - 18 Jul 2009 22:22 |
