| My experience in the pub was awful to say the least! The Landlord was very offensive considering I was a paying customer and have been in on a few occassions!! The prices are ridiculous and it's not an amazing drink. I will be avoiding this place in the future due to the insolant and aggressive behaviour of the Landlord for no apparent reason than he was obviously drunk and in a bad mood!!! | very nice pub for all ages, very friendly sociable landlord/landlady.Dont get any trouble at all due to the landlord having some guts and turning this pub into a nice place.Friendly polite barstaff who are always eager to serve.But above all the beer is spot on,you won't find a nicer pint of Tetley's anwhere and the landlord takes great pride in knowing this. redline123 - 5 Dec 2007 21:58 |
| Was my local when I lived up at Handsworth. Good jukebox and a decent pint. Can get a bit intimidating at weekends. Easy to get into a scrap there. If you wanted, of course. Or, sometimes, even if you didn't. Tasty birds behind the bar, mind. Dame - 31 Jul 2006 18:57 |

| This pub is definitely not the best in the world. The landlord may be great though, I haven't been in here in a while. I'd love to know of anyone without a Yorkshire/Northern accent who has gone in this pub and come out alive.. TheGP - 29 Nov 2004 14:46 |
