New people; very good vibe good food, lots of it and good beer. A must for locals, lots of chat and made to feel welcome. morristom - 13 May 2012 20:58 |
I disasters with the last comment, the new couple are lovely. Beer was very clear and crisp. Will return at the weekend for the party! TRIGGER210 - 2 May 2012 14:43 |
We decided to pop in as we heard that it is now under new management. Still shabby as ever and can't say much about the new owners. The food menu seemed average and well over priced and the beer tasted.. Well I did not want to finish my pint. The pub was bare and lifeless. Do you blame it. Zippy1066 - 24 Apr 2012 21:39 |
Takes me back to youth, many a misspent evening wasted in here.... Still looking a bit tired and shabby, even after the interior has been turned round and spruced up.Very much still a 'locals' pub...not unfriendly, but still not overly atmospheric. Only one pump...Bombadier at a pocket streching 3.15 a pint...in fair condition tho'! Nice bit of outside space for the kids to play in and catch the sun with a beer. Most confess it was journey down memory lane I enjoyed taking... nuckster1511 - 5 Jul 2009 18:10 |
