This was the third and least favourite of the places we tried in Syston. We much preferred the Dog & Gun and the Syston & District Social Club, that are not listed on here. The latter was my favourite establishment of the day. The Queen Victoria is nice as a pub. It certainly looks as if it has had plenty of history. But as an Everards place, the ale range was a touch limited - Beacon & Tiger, plus Empress Victoria (a house beer) and Batemans XB. Due to have a beer festival this weekend. The outdoor area at the rear looked quite pleasant. blue_scrumpy - 30 Sep 2015 23:19 |
The map ref is wrong; the post code is LE7 1GQ. Regis - 14 Aug 2014 14:38 |
Good quality Everards in a pleasant traditional (3 room) pub - bit quiet but still worth a visit. mtaylor40 - 6 Jan 2009 20:51 |

Under new management, the bar has been knocked through, and a new room added, there's a large garden to the rear, and a covered courtyard. Nice pint of Sunchaser, food is recommended, but I've not tried it yet sparky40 - 14 Aug 2007 20:45 |
