A definite downgrade on this visit - only one Shepherd Neame brew on so went for the keg Yardsman Stout which was kind of ok but disappointing . Not the quality ale venue it was. Snarling_Mallard - 25 Sep 2018 01:53 |
Authentic Belfast pub with lovely old tiling and classic furnishings, very busy on my visit and a lively atmosphere i might add. A couple of cask ales were on, sadly they were from Shepherd Neame, so your humble narrator opted for the Guinness and it was well worth it. Belfast is certainly a city worth visiting, the ale scene does require significant improvement though. nokegthanks - 13 Sep 2013 22:09 |
Only Hilden No.4 on draught but in excellent condition. Still the best pub in Ireland for proper ale. Snarling_Mallard - 25 Mar 2013 14:36 |
Easily the best option in Belfast for ale drinkers although the range is by no means extensive. pub_patron - 29 Nov 2010 15:45 |
Great tasting pint of College Green "Molly's Chocolate Stout" was quaffed, YUM!! :) 7/10 fat_beer_badger - 3 Jan 2010 20:20 |
