| Another large pub in the residential area of Willaston. This had a couple of rooms. But it lacked atmosphere, with only 1 or 2 other customers present. For a Saturday afternoon, this was disappointing. Okells Bitter & MPA was the rather uninspiring ale range. Not sure how this pub survives. | Large pub with strong community base. More than 1 dartboard, and we shared the bar with their football players back from a match. Pub too warm for me, lovely day so no real need for so much heat. Beers fine. Enjoyed Wychwood Hobgoblin. gillhalfpint - 26 Apr 2010 16:13 |
