| We visited the Island with Altrincham Kersal 1st XV on Saturday. The pub is a stone's throw away from Douglas RUFC (who were equally hospitable). Phil the landlord could not have been more helpful, laying on a healthy breakfast for the players before the game and hosting forty of us in the evening after the game. | It's still here as I can attest having enjoyed a half here today. Seems to be doing business happily enough. Pleasant, a bit awkwardly located for non-locals and pedstrians reliant on busees but overall no complaints from a quick visit. _grobag_ - 12 Nov 2011 19:53 |
