Went in at 6.00 on a Friday night and despite the friendly lady at the bar felt really out of place. No real ales to speak of and a crappy pint of John Smiths. dazzadurham - 15 Aug 2010 22:58 |
good pub. some customers tend to bore you about horse racing and their ragamuffin kids. funny staff. especially the tall guy with beard. anonymous - 30 Apr 2005 16:24 |
Large pub dating back to the 1700's when it provided stabling for up to 40 horses. Now a comortable, friendly pub with seperate restaurant and seating in the courtyard outside. well kept beers and quality food including home made steak pie, chips & garden peas at 4.95 Colin - 7 Jul 2004 12:20 |
