Nowt too special except the prices. average place in my opinion. ng10 - 17 Jan 2012 10:41 |
Crazy expensive beer and not a good selection. Food is very nice, as are the staff. Lots of attention to detail in the decor, perhaps a bit too poncy to be a truly successful boozer (in my humble opinion). Love the toilets though; covered in vintage girly mags. Would probably visit more if it wasn't for the ridiculous prices. MX7 - 24 Jul 2010 16:09 |
They've ruined it nivramkram - 20 Jan 2010 19:23 |
Went in with a friend during May 2009 and was shocked. They've turned what was one of the few surviving 'real pubs' in Nottingham into another trendy, yuppie-esque bar with prices to suit. They've gotten rid of all the real ale and what we're left with is a pub that is a shadow of it's former self. A real shame and the most recent nail in the coffin of the Nottingham pub scene. siddo - 7 Aug 2009 16:46 |
Recently refurbished. Looks like it's trying to be a night venue "bar" not a pub. Definitely aimed at the younger end of the market. The one server when I was in there couldn't cope with 3 at the bar, so I went next door! Old_Todger - 16 Jun 2009 21:45 |
