never knew this place before was out with a friend and she knows the area so we stopped off at this place , she did say she wasnt sure what it was like nowadays but she was pleasantly surprised as was i , very nice place , we only had drinks which as a knutsford lad were cheaper than what i am used to , but the food was flying out and heard no complaints will go again stevejcash - 27 Jun 2011 20:48 |
This pub is now lovely. Went in it a couple of years ago and it was not nice at all. Full of scallys, but now...wow. Its a really nice place to go and a really nice place to eat. Lovely decor and nice freindly atmosphere. Would greatly recommend both for a nice night out or for food or both!!!! trackwa - 13 May 2010 12:54 |
this pub was great about six years ago then i moved away, i went back for a visit and all the chavs from the grey horse (now closed) and the fir tree (now closed) go in here, it would be good if they were kicked out and it should have never been re-furbed, it was great the old way glengoon - 15 Sep 2007 10:18 |

I can't agree with the last post more strongly. This place is the pits. It used to be a great pub some 7-8 years ago, but now it's just Chav Central. I ended up in there on sufference, and suffered! There are much nicer pubs in the locality (such as the Hinds Head) - don't waste your hard-earned in "The Carra"! Bigaudio - 6 Mar 2006 17:42 |
