Pretty souless place really. Alright for one or two quick pints but that is about it really. 6/10 montie49 - 14 Oct 2011 16:20 |
Fantastic smell of prawn curry on entry! This was beer festival week here so a couple of well kept brews I've not tried before (Hook Norton Jackpot and Lees Hop Buster?). As always, good value and what you expect from a Wetherspoons - very handy for main shopping area. brouk - 17 Apr 2009 00:47 |
Quite small for a JDW.Visited today for a couple of superb festival pints.people eating were served quickly and food looked really good.Attentive staff circulated to clear tables and to make sure evervone was satisfied.I was very impressed overall.my first 10! Baldpat - 4 Nov 2008 19:57 |
Typical lower-end 'spoons - good cheap beer, average microwaved food and mostly chav clientele. Perhaps we were just unlucky but had some young lad sit at our table and told us his whole life story - tough shit lad, but you just made me want to exit asap. BobOs - 19 Aug 2008 11:52 |
This place is terrible - my food was cold, after sending it back they brought me the same half eaten meat wrap again, and now it was lukewarm. My firend found a piece of something unedible in her apple pie, so all in all, we will never be eating here again. inzingonzado - 4 Mar 2008 13:12 |
