| I give this pub 1 point for being open and another for having the ever-depressing GK IPA on which was even worse than usual. Having managed to drink that I went to the bar to try a Titanic They Think Its Ale Over but they had a problem with the gas and were unable to serve any draught beers. Time to beat a hasty retreat. | Good pub this, fast becoming one of my favourites in Oxford. Well placed just off the Cowley Road, so easy to get to. Generally busy, but fortunately not packed full of students like some of the others nearby. Always an interesting crowd of Oxford and Cowley Road types. Got a pool table and table footy and you can usually get a game. Staff are friendly too. All round quality boozer really. Matt - 17 Nov 2004 14:04 |
