just cant belive how much this pub as gone down hill in the last couple off weeks ,from a great pub to eat and enjoy the company off others to an un welcomeing hole ,with rude staff ,and a dirty pub witneyboy - 22 May 2011 22:22 |
Not too bad. I went in during the afternoon when it was not over-crowded, and found that they were selling John Smiths for 2.15 pounds a pint. stanley_C - 6 Sep 2010 12:02 |
Ignore the gripes of the small minded Daily Mail readers who've not read nor paid attention to all the facts. The fact of the matter is that the top-brass of Brize Norton air base have asked pubs in the area not serve members of the armed forces in uniform and this isn't the management of the pub's decision. This is still a friendly and welcoming pub. oxford_hasher - 29 Jul 2010 23:30 |
Nice selection of decent ales and very reasonably priced food that comes out in generous portions. True, you might have to wait a little while when it's busy but it's busy for a reason - it's a good establishment. oxford_hasher - 29 Jul 2010 23:26 |
This is the pub that has a policy not to serve our armed forces in uniform. Should be ashamed of themselves Cazza54 - 19 Nov 2009 00:45 |
