A suprise as I am not a great fan of gasto pubs but this place is good. Good food, Real ale and right by a holiday inn. junction 44 m6, take the road for carlisle. Keep going its not the big one on right but further down on the left. Great service. Recommended trains2064 - 21 Sep 2008 19:05 |
Good family pub. Plenty of meal deals to go with the beer, food not to bad at present . Nothing special over the bar kingmoor - 31 May 2008 02:23 |
Visited on Sunday before August Bank Holiday, weather was pretty good, so many people sitting outside. Food was average tastewise, and a bit pricey for what it was. Have to say Weatherspoons beats it on price! I was driving, so no beer I'm afraid so can't comment, they had Theakstons Best and also Grouse Beater on draught. Very much a family orientated food pub so avoid if you're looking for a quite pint. budvar_1 - 29 Aug 2007 22:33 |
