| Basic good old pub, excellent landlord, friendly staff, good juke box, changed hands not long before Chrismas I was told and according to the friendly regulars the change was for the better! | Almost managed to miss this, in spite of actively hunting for it. The pub sign is un-illuminated and with it's full glass window it doesn't look like your tradional pub. The front bar is quite trendy with limited seating, leather sofa's in the window and a couple of high tables. The rear bar is a little more traditional. Decent music on, but interspersed with adverts that were far too loud. Didn't sound like a radio station though, presumably something networked just for pubs. No proper beer on, just John Smith's.
