| My third Wetherspoons of the day today, and I truly came back down to earth with a bump in this one, following my good experiences in the George in Wanstead. The Millers Well was everything you come to expect of a typical Wetherspoons. Whilst the drinks range is good, the characters that frequent the place are at best amusing, but at worst downright annoying. Many are clearly beyond help, which I was also soon to be after getting a masala dosa all over me whilst attempting to consume it on East Ham High St. But that's a different story. This place was extremely popular. Finding a table was difficult. The beer range was extensive - Weltons Our England, Magog & Red Cross Mild, Deuchars IPA, Inveralmond Thrappledouser, Ruddles Best, Hook Norton Old Hooky, Oakham JHB, Nethergate Essex Best, Mauldons Silver Adder and Greene King IPA. Cider from the box in the fridge was Westons Marcle Hill. Could be a nice pub, if it wasn't for some of the people that drink themselves into oblivion there. blue_scrumpy - 28 May 2010 23:50 |
| Visited yesterday afternoon ahead of Stokes game with West Ham. The service was excellent and the Hammers fans in the pub were true Gents and Ladies. I would definately recomend to sensible away fans. lesalanos - 28 Mar 2010 19:04 |

| As said food is abysmal, good selection of beers though be it real ales or international lagers etc. Gets busy on Friday night, quite a few women. Full of old alcos inthe daytime though. Probably the best in the area. whogaarden - 10 Feb 2008 00:08 |
| I saw mice in here one afternoon carrying some dropped food back to their hole and coming back for the rest of it. In all it took about 8 or 9 trips. Thats better entertainment than a duke box, a live band or a ranting nutcase. Beer ain't bad either. Don't eat the food, unless you want the mice offering you out!
