Went here on a Friday night after a friend has reserved an area upstairs for a reasonable £25 fee. Unfortunately won't be back again - the music upstairs was piercingly loud - terrible 'treble' that literally made your ears crack and give you a headache after a short while. Only one bar man upstairs - with most people ordering several different cocktails at a time, we spent more time waiting at the bar for drinks than enjoying them with our friends. Bar man was blatantly snorting cocaine - he'd disappear for 5 minutes (leaving the bar empty) then come back up constantly sniffing. Could spot it a mile off. Glass collector lady swiped my friends cocktail away after it was only half drunk - ended up telling the barman and he did oblige replacing with another one which was something at least. nazza99 - 12 Nov 2014 16:36 |
Second night out at Zebrano and another fantastic night! The atmosphere was amazing and the cocktails were lush. Me and my girlfriends had a blast! Would recommend to anyone! LucieG - 12 May 2014 11:14 |
A night with great potential was ruined here by appalling service at the downstairs bar. I was ignored by bar staff for half an hour and passed over for other customers. The music was so loud I couldn't hear my friends so didn't stay long. Doorman was friendly but wouldn't recommend it if you value being treated with respect. TheIrve - 8 Apr 2012 19:27 |
Me and the missus have been to this place on a number of occasions midweek when we have been out and needed somewhere to go which has a late licence. The staff have always been friendly but it was a little different this time round. Firstly we had to battle to keep our place in the queue outside as people tried pushing in to which the door staff did NOTHING about! Then when we finally get to the front my girlfriend who was smoking a cig was told "Put that out now, put it out now because you dont smoke in our queues". This was repeated another 2 times getting more angry each time despite the fact my better half was already complying with her request! We then get told it's "Ten pound for boys, five pounds for ladies". Great. Not. Got inside and it was very busy but some good music was being played and we bought a bottle of wine to enjoy and managed to find a seat upstairs. Stayed for a few hours which I didnt mind but just the high admission charge and surly staff put me off this place and I dont know if I will go again in the future.... mikeyr1234 - 31 Jan 2011 00:04 |
First off, don't think i'll be back here in a hurry after emptying my wallet for one drink (6.50 for a southern comfort and coke!!!!! The bottled beer starts at about 3 as well). That said, the place is a good size with a nice interior and a pleasent crowd considering the area it's in. Wasn't particularly rammed for a Friday night either. But with a surprisingly decent wetherspoons right next door you'd only come here for a special occasion or if you've got money to burn. telephones_and_toliets - 13 Jun 2009 14:09 |
