| I've been a chef for a long time. Very rarely is food above and beyond my expectations but. The food and all round general service at this pub/restaurant was fantastic. | I live in Abercynon and my Australian born son and daughter-in-law have come to Wales for the first time. They decided to have a Sunday Roast at the Navigation and I told them that the staff would probably be chatty and friendly. Unfortunately the Navigation did not come up to scratch. The staff did not greet or welcome them, instead they were rude and unhelpful. The beef was tough and cold. The vegetables were overcooked and mushy.
