Personally this is my favourite pub in the high street. Over the last few months have been on evenings where I visited all the pubs in the high street.

In the Garibaldi I didn't get stared at as I walked in. The bar staff I have met have been happy and chatty; as well as the people drinking at the bar. There did not seem to be any undesirables.

On Friday's fresh fish and chips for lunch. A good atmosphere in the evening.

Friends of mine drink there purely for the Ale's which are kept well.

Also I have enquired about catering for a family event in the coming months and the Land Lady was very accommodating and able to work to my needs. Will definitely confirm this event.

Norm1945 is right in saying you get views of (Part of) Burnham Park from the Pub, but currently the view is blighted by the Bulldozers demolishing the "Burnham Park Hall" creating dust and noise everywhere. This is a Pub where you can enjoy a pint and get your car washed in the Car Park at the same time. Occassional Themed Nights,Speciial Events and Live Music. Still one of the quieter pubs in the High Street.

Great Pub with atmosphere and their own web site giving loads of info and the Menus which are really good.
Lovely views of Burnham Park circa 1762 full of character.

Great range of beers, you'll guarantee to find something new. Went on a Sunday, very busy, but sat outside in the lovely garden. This pub is hard to beat.

Went to this pub on a Sunday, its fantastic.
Lots of beers, many unheard of, choosing at random and got a couple of duds (not duds just not to my taste). Good range of ciders, perrys, tap Belgians and bottled Belgians. Food was very good but stuck to chips pies and sandwiches so can't comment on the hot meals. No TV, no pool table, no slots, some kids but not inside and all well behaved.
Good mix of locals, beer buffs, hikers and day trippers.
Church bells and huge birds of prey.
Went back of an evening the next week - Morris Dancers which everyone was enjoying, some seriously and others in a more ironic way.
10/10 in every way.

Fantastic rural pub with some amazing beers to try.
An example of how rural: at the end of my most recent visit I wanted to phone for a taxi home, the barman told me that the only mobile phone signal that would work was O2 and I had to stand in a particular place just across the road! He was right and luckily I'm on O2, though he did offer the use of the landline if I wasn't :-)
I've never tried the food here so I can't comment on it, but the beer is what people go there for anyway and it won't disappoint.

This is my Local and I agree with trose10 the Brakspears Bitter is usually Very Good as is the Pedigree. The staff are excellent too. I and four of my friends ate there on Saturday night and all had an excellent meal (Steaks). I am sure trose10 experience was a one off regarding the food and would urge them to give it another try.

New management now people are starting to come back in as they learn the pub is open.

The new management team of Donna and Annette are fun and friendly.

Apprently, they are going to be doing food in the day and will have things like karaoke there too.

Well worth a visit

Since my last Review this pub is now under new management - Nice pint of London Pride - usual Lagers/Ciders and Guiness. Now doing Food. Advertising an "ALL DAY BREAKFAST" from 08:00 to 20:00. Quiz Night every Thursday @ 21:00 (went last week and was well attended). Will go again tonight. Large Screen showing sports. Garden and a "Smoking Den" hidden away round the Back. This pub is getting back to where it used to be - I now recommend this pub so give it a try.

Previous reviewer spot on. Once a great friendly pub now suffering from ever changing Owner/Landlord/MAnager/Staff. It is pot luck what you will get month to month. Nice building inside and out with bags of potential. Garden to the left and large rear car park. Pleanty of better pubs in the Area I recommend "The Bee" in Burnham High Street as the best pub in the area at the moment. Sadly I have to say give this one a miss until changes have been made.

I like the Thai food served in this pub, and it's always convenient for the airport. The pub itself has a comfortable interior. It's nothing special, but it's probably the pick of the bunch in Colnbrook, now they've ruined the interior of the Ostrich. London Pride is the only real ale available.
30 Jul 2009 17:44
lovely little pub - shame it has no real beer garden...

getting to know the locals is a blast... the punch wouldnt be the punch without Yogi, Rod, Jane, Dave, Chelsea Dave, Warren, Warrick, Dave the roll, the twins, angry bob ... the list is endless.

would definately recommend the thai food - its to die for

I'ts great to see that colen has been allowed into a local pub again. I see he is following his usual MO by posting a lovely glowing review of the pub. I bet I'm not the only one who can't wait for his usual barbed comments when he eventually gets himself barred. Having seen Jim in action............it won't be too long!!!!!!!

Modern looking interior. Fairly busy with the after-work crowd from the airport area. Two handpulls, but both were off. I was suspecting the worse, from the reviews and have heard stories of other people who have been here and been attacked by one of the St Bernards. Average or slightly below.

Visited last August and they could supply any vegetarian food, what a surprise last week when the place has been refurbed as has the menu. Great improvement

not even worth a mention this pub. Gone are the old days of karaoke nice owners.

the empty car park speaks volumes
