Bar 11, Harlowback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
What a load of rubbish, Libertys is totally different now, and its becoming the most popular plae in harlow, its obviously had thousands spent on it and has new management, they are also open til 4am now which is the latest in Harlow, rumour has it the owners are opening a retro 80s bar up somewhere near by too, if you tried it when it was bar 11, do yourself a favour and go back to see the difference even if its popping your head in the door, iguarentee you will be amazed, i said i'd never go back, even though i dont really go out in harlow these days.

Despite the BOGOF offers, most drinks here actually work out more expensive than the nearby JD Wetherspoons. Many of their spirits are 'house' bottles, and are somewhat overpriced for what they are.
Orange house often gets rather crowded on a friday and saturday evening/night, due to the amount of people using it as a starting point before heading off to jumpin' jaks or liquid. As a result, finding somewhere to sit can be awkward, it also tends to be loud, and you find yourself having to shout at someone even if they're only 2ft away.
Despite this, the bar itself is rather good, the entire layout is open-plan, and smoking is allowed throughout. they also have a number of pool tables in a seperate area, which is usually a bit quieter (but not much) allowing a slight degree of conversation.
My opinions of this pub were truely marred once i entered the toilets. a sign reckoned that hourly checks were made on the toilet. this may be true, but presumably the only thing the staff would check is that the door was still in place.
3 of the 4 stalls were blocked and overflowing with various bodily waste, from 2 or more orifaces. the remaining stall, while unblocked, had no seat, and no toilet roll. the stench was unbearable, and as a result, i felt ill, and decided to make my way to an alternative venue.
the following week, i returned to give the place a second chance, only to disover that they had closed the toilets, and had 'temporarily' converted one of the ladies rooms into a gents, and locked all but one stall, obviously to reduce the number of people who could be in there at any given time.
i wont be going back.
