9 handpumps, 2 of which were ciders and 1 perry - all hidden down the far end. Ruddles and Abbot repeated, so just 2 guest ales - Cains Jubilee Mild and Beartown Black Bear, both decent and well priced at 1.79/2.05 - that's dearer than the Imperial though!

Very friendly staff in a typical cinema conversion. Beartown beer excellent.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in a bar. Staff were rude, slow and unfriendly. Manager refused to listen to complaint, and wouldn't give her name due to the "data protection act". Avoid at all costs.

A typical large room Weatherspoons pub. The service was very good unlike so many other Weatherspoon outlets. A decent choice of real ale, i counted four and thats very good considering how many pubs nearby only serve fizz. If you are in Widnes its worth calling in.

No draught cider on the night I visited AARGH!!! Otherwise this is a clean, large, bright and friendly wetherspoons, the booths r well comfy and there were no queues at the bar, better than most of the rubbish bars in Widnes
