Yes this is now the Wild Lime and I was here early last Saturday afternoon. Lots of screens showing the Arsenal v Man City game with loud piped music playing at the same time. Only had time for one beer which is just as well as only one of the 3 hand pulls was in use for Thwaites Lancaster Bomber which cost £2.80 and was very nice.

I have to say this place has slipped somewhat lately. Runs out of beer quite often and when we last tried to eat in here we gave up because several of our choices on the menu had run out. Pedisace is obviously a wino on the quite with jewish tendencies if he thinks the beer was expensive he must be from up North. The Exchange (Wetherspoons) is were all the local wino's hang out so at least he found his home from home in the end !!!

Used to be called Muswells and was a nice pub.. went in there a while back and was told to remove my hat? The barman had poured my drinks and was waiting for payment when I walked out in disgust

Gary06 must be having a laugh when he says the beers are reasonably priced! We couldn't find Wetherspoons, where the beers ARE reasonably priced, so we called into this 'Spoons 'Lookalike' pub. There were two handpumps with 'Wye Valley Bitter' pumpclips on, so I asked the barman for a small white wine and a pint of Wye Valley Bitter. He poured the wine and then informed me that the Wye Valley Bitter was 'off'! I pointed out that he could have told me that it was off before pouring the wine. I also told him that it was usual practice to turn the pumpclip the other way if the beer was off. I eventually settled for a half of Kronenbourg and I honestly could not believe my ears when he said...... "5.05, please" 5.05 for a half of lager and a small glass of house wine!!!!!!!!! Luckily, we found Wetherspoons later that afternoon and my first round was a PINT of Wye Valley Bitter and a LARGE glass of house wine. The cost? 4.30! My advice? When in Banbury avoid The Priory like the plague and go to Wetherspoons. (or The Olde Reindeere, The Cromwell Lodge, The Coach and Horses or any of the other decent pubs in town!)

Bit of a sports bar - nice seating out front in the summer. Recently visited by Chris Moyles and his Radio 1 team.
