Non-existent.

Closed in February, and is currently being demolished.

Large and functional pub. Plenty of seating. Horseshoe bar with plenty of staff. One cask on my visit (after a Saints v Liverpool match), and that was the dull Doombar, but at least there's something. Free wifi. TV screens. Quite basic, but does the job.

This pub was recommended to me by an ex-student in Southampton.
It is not the place for a Real Ale drinker or lover of beer. The pint of Directors I had was cloudy and uninspiring and it was the only real ale available at the bar. In the end I left half of it and went in search of a better pint somewhere else.
In this place's favour was the friendliness of the staff though, if you're a lager drinker or not too bothered about real ale then it's probably a good boozer, plenty of seating and relatively clean.

Wholeheartedly agree with the review below - I too was a solent student in the HOR opposite and this was indeed a great pub!

Being next to the grotty east street shopping centre and not being in the most desirable part of town, you would expect the worst. But have to say, this was my favourite pub in Southampton. Lived in the halls of residence across the road and had some fantastic nights here. Students and locals mixed brilliantly, never a hint of trouble. Good entertaiment, decent food and a good place to watch the football, especially when Liverpool were playing for some reason. Also a good location for home Southampton fans on matchdays (you need a good drink after watching them I assume)! Bar staff were always friendly as were the landlord and land lady. Always a few drinks offers on the go through the week as well. Make a point of going back there every time me and my mates are back in Southampton. Good pub.

Yep, this is where the urinal got pinched. Apparently its now on display in the bar.

One of Southampton's best pubs for entertainment, fantastic karaoke night on Mondays (probably the best karaoke night in Southampton, the song list books are the most comprehensive by a long way), open mic night, quiz, live music, pool, darts, quiz machines...what more could you want?
It's always friendly and lively and there's never any trouble although somebody recently stole a Urinal from the gents...it was recovered by the Police and is now a decorative feature!

Is this the pub where someone nicked the urinal?

Went in on a Tuesday evening. Love the cute youg barmaids in mini skirts, otherwise it's just a pub with chav type locals.
