"I'm Irish, you know"
"Oh really?"
"No. O' Reilly"

nice clean spot but not very busy barmaid was nice will be back at weekend for their music
|
Fair enough for a pint of Guiness, lively enough.
Not a real ale enthusiast's place.

rip off of the better irish bars in ealing and west ealing
|
Packed full of young lads who looked like they may have been playing sport. It was loud but friendly enough.
Decent friendly service. No handpumps but fine otherwise.
|
A hidden gem of a pub even though it is on a busy road. Good for a laugh when the GAA games are on.

Ok every once in a while, can be quite clique at times, but good service behind the bar, and a nice guinness.

A great pub with a really friendly atmosphere. Went there on a Saturday night, where they had a great band playing, and also a big crowd.
However, my night was soured by the extremely slow service when ordering a drink. Despite the pub being really busy the barmaids didn't seem in too much of a hurry, which left a lot of punters frustrated.
A nice bar, but unless the service improves I won't be going back.

As Irish shop conversion pubs go this is one of the better ones. The barmaid was very friendly and the locals that I bumped into seemed nice enough. Unsurprisingly there was only a standard selection of draught available, but the Guinness was excellent. I spotted three plasma screens and the pub shows Sky and Setanta.
It is a little dark at the back of the pub, but that is my only complaint so I would gladly return.

I had the same reservations as james below but I popped in for a quick solo mission on a Friday afternoon and found this to be a very welcoming and friendly place.

On paper one might assume this pub to suck; the space it occupies is rather limiting for one and then there's the Irish angle. I'd assumed the latter to be nothing more than O'Neills-esque pretence but rather refreshingly this boozer is the real Irish deal. Both the staff and the punters are courteous beyond the call of duty and I'd recommend this pub to anyone. Good for: Pub quiz on a Thursdays are laugh - 7/10.

First time visit recently and most certainly the last. When my Scottish boyfriend had the affront to ask, after we had ordered our drinks, if we had been served Irish or Scotch, the barmaid told the manageress about it (even though it was a polite enquiry, not a complaint) who then came and questioned us about it, not in a polite way but in a how-dare-you-question-what-youre-given-in-this-pub way. Im Irish and have always enjoyed drinking in the Irish pubs in West London and have always come across friendly staff, but not in this case.

Having read the reviews, I really wanted to like this place. Certainly, the service was efficient and the staff friendly but I didn't totally connect with the place. Mind you, we had gone for a quiet pint on the busiest night of the week, so perhaps the timing was wrong. Initially, we were put off by the 3 foul-mouthed shouty blokes, "eff this", "eff that" and "cant this", "cant that" every 5 seconds. As an Irishman, I have no problem with a liberal sprinkling of expletives but this just seemed offensive, intimidating and boorish. Perhaps their vocabulary was limited and maybe they secretly yearned to express themselves in more diverse prose yet tragically couldn't and drank copious amounts to conceal their shortcomings? Anyway; once they left, things improved and I will give it another go, undoubtedly.

This pub is great. The Guinness is always lovely and creamy and the bar staff are all very friendly.
The place is always very clean and well maintained. They have the Irish papers and sell Tayto crisps which is a bonus.

was in on Sunday and heard a band called Bang-On, they were wicked. Irish music in an Irish pub! Great tunes and songs kept us all going. The big lad sang The Gren Fields Of France so well it would have made The Fureys worried that his version was better than theirs. Guy on the mandolin is great, the speed he plays is unreal, and the Bodhran player keeps a good steady beat which you just have to tap your feet to. A great band in a great pub

Great pub
Could do with having Setanta Ireland on the sky options
|
Brilliant for watching sport.

MUST SEE BAND. If your a Celtic fan, Irish, or up for good music, dancing and singing along to a few songs, get down there on a Sunday afternoon and witness one of the best Irish bands I've seen in ages. Do a lot of the old favourites with some deeper stuff ranging from the Dubliners to the Pogues, Christy Moore and the Wolfe Tomes. The band is a trio, mandalin guitar, bodhran and vocals. The band shows strong vocals and solid guitar from Matt, slick jigs and reels from Brian on the mandalin, and a driving rhythm from Richard on the bodhran. Forget your Sunday roast, Bang-on at Jono's with BANG-ON

It's fun, it's friendly, it serves a cracking pint of Guiness and serves Tatos (real Irish crisps).

Friendly Irish bar by the tube station. Not Irish in an O'neills way. Show Gaelic Football and Hurling as well as Premiership games. Excellent Atmosphere when busy, Also good place to go for a pint during the quieter times
