As pointed out - now by four posters - this fine pub doesn't sell real ale, as there is no demand for it!
But the food, lager and service are first class. Together with plenty of TV sports.

Seemingly no change in the lack of real ale from our widow vantage point so we didn't enter. A rarity these days.

Called in and asked if there were any real ales on and got the reply, no. A pity as the sandwiches on the bar looked really good. Can't really comment on the pub as we didn't stay but it looked popular.

Welcoming small town pub on the High St. - it is only lacking cask ales. Well placed for Jimmy Pickles curry house over the road. Apparently there isn't the demand for real ale, so they don't stock it, which is fair enough. but still a shame. Probably a bit lively on a Saturday evening!
