Sad to hear this is closing down? I had some good times there back in the late 80's and 90's when I worked in Hitchin. :(

Another pub that has been helped by a change of management, No food at this one but the atmosphere is good if a bit lively at times.
A working mans pub but the natives are friendly, beer good and landlord and lady friendly and some music at weekends.

It's been done up and is now reasonable.
Full of white van men with limited vocabulary other than swear words, but they're friendly enough.
Usual beers, sky tv and pretty clean and tidy.

used to be a shite hole, last went once on my college lunch break, probably will never go again but it was okay

Not to bad this pub, bit smokey, does good food in the aftnernoon used to go regulary when at Hitchin College, has a nice patio garden.
