North Taunton pub with a bad reputation, but now in new ownership & under new management. Promising start with Sky sports, pleasant staff & good atmosphere. Food due to resume in late October 2011. It has inherited most of the custom (and the landlord) from The Gardeners Arms, bought out by Tesco Express

i have drunk in this pub long before the current landlady arrived. Drinking there at least once a week, so i would class myself as a local. untill one night over this xmas when the landlady ( lesley) decided to pour some of my pint from the drip tray.. yes the drip tray. so be warned when drinking in this pub.. nice landlady hey.. you make your own mind up!!!
