Now rebranded as Brambles. Went in recently, attracted by the large number of handpumps, but the pint of real ale I was served tasted like a pint of vinegar. Handed it back, was offered another beer but decided to beat a retreat. Shame they can't keep their beer properly as it's a nice place otherwise.

the white hart has been decorated and cleaned up people of all ages use this now.
there is no hand pulled beer avilable, it is bikers/walkers/children and dog friendly all is welcome there is a dj every other friday evening and has a late licence there is a function room available and the atmosphere is a friendly one.

You always see the owners and they are genuine. The beer is VERY well kept. Excellent atmosphere.

First pub i visited in Holmfirth - Good food quick service as well considering the pace was packed at lunchtime.

Go in this pub every time we visit holmfirth. my husband loves the abbots ale,customers friendly you are made to feel welcome by the owners who you see all the time and they actually remember us!! Went to the festival of folk in may and the white hart did a great job Keep up the good work you 2 see you soon x

A very friendly and lively atmosphere. I last checked on this house a year ago and come away leaving nearly a full pint of foul tasting lager (obviously a lack of line maintainence).The new owners know exactly what the public want and have an obvious passion for the place. I remove my hat. A perfect evening with a perfect pint in a perfect pub.(sat 4 mar)

Friendly open pub, serving the best pint of Taylor's Landlord ive tasted in over 20 years, has the usual range of largers and very friendly bar staff. All in all a most excellent English pub
