Lincoln Green Brewery have invested a lot of money into the place. It's got a small bar at the front and the rear is now Blackshale Bar and Kitchen. The locals went up in arms as the White Lion statue outside has been painted Lincoln Green. The ales are ok, but a bit on the cold side.

Closed again and the top floor has been rented out as housing.
|
Has re-opened, but needs an awful lot of work doing on it.

Hadn't seen anyone going in for a while, then irregular opening hours, now boarded up.

Really good pub in Beeston. Good location, Good beer, excellent food avaiable. Also there are always different events/nights on. Always something fresh and interesting.
Serves decent ales and Sagres lager with several cocktails available, also tried the Portuguese wine on the recomendation of the landlord, which was really good.
Bar staff are very friendly, I recommend highly

Would have liked to review it, but after five minutes wandering around the bar on a Thursday afternoon and nobody appearing to take my order, I left and went to the excellent Star next door instead (see review there).
No local guest ales either, just a selection of nationals like Caledonian. Didn't get a chance to try them due to the aforementioned lack of visible staff.

alcoholly I'm sure that your barmaid is delighted that you've come on here to announce that she has great tits. I would agree by suggesting that you're one of them !

Now open again with new management after being shut for a few months. Classic 70s rock music policy, no handpull beer (yet?) but seemed quite friendly.
|
Dont drink the house vodka, i am sure they preserve bodies with it in Russia...lethal stuff!

Usually start here and stay - clean bars and ashtrays good service from staff. Food is very good, live music excellent with great acts , also the Karoke is a fun night. All in all very enjoyable agood atmosphere with good beers and management.

Normally start here on a Saturday night. Customer care standards have a lot to be desired. Ash trays never emptied, bar usually swimming in beer. If you can catch the staff not using their mobile phones, you usually get a reasonable pint.
