Closed now i believe. On our visit at the turn of 2011 had a pint of Courage for 2 not the best tasting. Strange atmosphere and customers were minding their own business. A right spit and sawdust place.

Small pub with a poor beer selection. Beer garden is pretty average too.

Sweet little old fashioned boozer with a nice real fire and welcome. No real ale, but had a decent Guinness and some (free!) sandwiches whilst watching the rugby. Smoking area/ garden at the back.............lack stepping abck in time!

A few years ago this was a decent pub. Now it seems to be in total decline. The last two times I've ben in, thre was no real ale on.

Couldn't disagree more with the previous review. This is a shitty pub dying on its arse, although I must admit I've not been there for a fair while (for good reason). Staff are ok, if odd, but the locals are either totally unfriendly or outright scum that won't get served anywhere else. This is also the only place I've ever had a yellow (yes, yellow) Guinness. When you've got the Lincolnshire Poacher just around the corner there is no reason on earth to ever go here.

Friendly basic local, good Nottingham beers, stark but welcome contrast to the trendier pubs on Mansfield road

Has an open Mike night on Wednesdays in the yard out the back, mainly original material. Mallard Featherlight was absolutely delicious

A small insignificant dump.
