In the past me and my wife both early 40s dressed well / few bob i my pocket have never made it past the door staff members only / regulars only etc.
There's only Skin and Bluue left open now on Broadway there was only the bar staff and the doorman @ 10pm on a Saturday night in Skin which gave me a little chuckle .
I would have loved to review this bar , but having never been aloud in the past , i was not going to start now !!

Love this bar...classy punters, good service, great champagne at a fair price (�45 for Veuve)excellent cocktails and a great night out...not a chav in sight!

Visited on a Saturday Night, Doorman on duty was polite, we waited less than 8 minutes to get in. Decor was good, and comfortable, girlfriend queued a bit for the loo but not long enough to wet herself. Drinks were served promptly, and the price for the round of 8 drinks was fair. Music was such that whilst it could be heard, you were still able to talk to friends without appearing demented. Overall a decent place to while away time, and a good evening was had by all. Recommended

Finally made it in to this bar on Sunday evening (with no bouncer on the door), it wasn't worth the wait I must say - this place totally lacks character - and the gents toilets are more reminiscent of a transport cafe than a "chic" bar. Avoid.

Same problem as jonnyg and also a friend of mine has had the same problem. We're all respectable, affluent people. I guess it's whether your face fits or not, the doorman isn't being ageist or racist. Never had problems elsewhere; try Bluu, Sugar Bar or Dogma all as alternatives. Rating 0/10

Myself and a friend tried to get in here on Saturday night (4/12/04) - we were both very respectable and smartly dressed - we were told by the bouncer in no uncertain terms: "Sorry, tonight is for regulars only". I couldn't make up my mind whether this was (a) ageism (we are both in our 30's), (b) racism (he was black and we are white) or (c) a bar trying to commit commercial suicide by not allowing in respectable, affluent punters

Well what can I say - absolutely fantastic night! Modern,sexy bar with an amazing atmosphere. Excellent cocktails and music, with great staff.The personalised service was great we didn't get up from our seat once-they kept the drinks flowing constantly

fantastic late bar restaurant with funky music, great cocktails and loveley food. Chic interior with cream leather booths, perfect for posing at the weekend or relaxing during the week!
