would have to agree with richc1977 when i revisted the pub earlier this year, i found the food service to be very poor. One member of staff helped me out with my complaint and clearly seemed to be unhappy with the way the place is managed. Bad experiences here and at the Greyhound in Ash has left me very reluctant to visit an Ember Inns pub anytime soon

I visited on a Thursday Evening and was less than impressed with the whole night. It took over an hour to get our food and that was cold and had to be sent back. The service was poor and plates were left on tables for well over an hour before they were collected....This could be a great pub if the staff and management actually cared..shame really

Went in on christmas day on my way to the family gathering and found the atmosphere to be quite nice, with fairly friendly staff. However, it took me quite a while to actually get served. Otherwise nice place

Come back Jim Thompsons. The revamped Crab & Dragon has real potential but is let down by their management team. They started well but have gone slowly downhill over the last year and the experience there is really quite appaling The bar service is now so slow a that a 10 minute wait is not unusual even in quiet times. It is not that the pub is busy, its just that there is generally only one member of staff wortking trying to do it all (Food, drink, tea/coffee etc, Bar tabs etc.) The food - don't bother the portions are measely the chefs skills non existent. I will be taking my business clients elseware from now on.

Now called the Crab and Dragon after a refurb. Three real ales London Pride, Deuchars and a rarity in Timothy Taylors Best. Deuchars was pretty good

A reasonable pint of London pride with some of the best Thai cuisine for miles. We tried their "sample menu" which was authentic and with drinks was around 40 for two.
