Now refurbished as the Hampton, does ales such as Twickenham Naked Ladies (3.90 a pint) and pizzas, burgers etc. Two bars, one more aimed at dining and then you find the other bar which is more what the pub must have been like before - cosy, leather settees, a pool table. Gets used a fair bit by the locals by the look of it, as there aren't that many pubs around here (the Royal Oak or the two by the railway station are the only real competition).

well certainley a pub which is a blast from the past worth a visit to see how pubs were 20years ago they cant even afford a 1.99 lock for the toilet door shows how much they do not care for the customers cut to the chase ambience 1 house keeping 2 service 2 value for money 0 food to be desired same as furnishings

Went in this pub to watch football on a saturday great atmosphere really friendly atmosphere, bit of a local pub but never the less friendly people. Bar staff welcoming run by a very nice irish couple Tony & Joan Dempsey

Very friendly and safe pub. No trouble allowed and great food during weekday lunchtime. Excellent Guinness.
