Sir Robert Peel, Kentish Townback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Wow, no reviews for six years? You'd think the place had shut, but it's still there.
Long bar populated by a handful of old geezers sipping away. Quite a large place, fairly tidy, not much character in truth, but nothing wrong with it. Had Guinness so can't comment on quality of ale or if there was any. Two large screens showing Wimbledon.
It did feel like the sort of place that might be worth steering clear of on a Friday night, but I may be being harsh. All I can really say is it was fine for one Wednesday afternoon pint.

reciently refirbished and is really quite a nice pub these days. the beer is good and still quite cheep the barstaff have a certian charm and the only real problem with the place is the lack of sports being shown. the garden has real potential but seems to be really under used.

Recently refurbished, this pub has shed its 'old man' image and now has the look and feel of a modern, stylish pub but without the stylish prices that normally go with it. Many of the 'old school' characters remain and it is still very much a community pub. Thankfully, the pool table is still there and attracts some decent players but the new decor makes the whole place a lot more female friendly, great news for guys on the pull. Official opening party on 27th May with finger buffet and live music. It should be a hoot.

I think I got there before the landlord left (see below) so it may have changed already, but there really was no beg-your-pardons about this place. Quite rough, and not really my cup of ale, but it's certainly not aimed at me so who am I to comment. A decent sized crowd was there for a Saturday afternoon so it's doing something right.
