We bokked the hall. Morden and cozy decoration unlike community halls And CHEAP as well. We used this place for my wife's 30th birthday party and they gave us a pleasent service. We also booked couple of rooms and stayed over night.

Cheapest in the town . Newly decorated reception. They need to add more pictures. Helpful staff, clean room, power shower etc. Extended my stay by 7 more days."‎

Great deal.
I was bit concern about the bad reviews this hotel had. But 39 for a double en suite room was bit tempting and I booked one day to try this out. I can see that this hotel had gone through some renovation work and ground floor reception was closed. That could be the reason for the bad reviews. There were no boarded up windows. I pressed the intercom bell and a gentleman opens the door. He was very helpful and room was very clean and tidy. Great power shower. They are also offered free Wi-Fi. Even though there is a social houusing estate behind this building, it was quiet and only a short walk to the Kingston town centre. I extended my stay by nine more days.

Cheap and cheerful! Short walk to kingston town centre
A very pleasant service. Clean, comfortable rooms and a nice en-suite bathroom with power shower. Great price.

I saw some reviews which relates to the old pub. It is not a pub any more. The new owner has recently refurbished all the room adding en suite bathroom for all of them. Currently it is a budget hotel and good value for money. I stayed for 12 nights and it was great with free parking and free WiFi. Comfortable bed and power shower. Great customer service and the manager was very helpful.

Also the phone rang for at least 2 mins at 1:30 and 3:30am and disrupted our sleep and no breakfast was provided in the morning. Instead the guy stuttered and told us go left and right and to another building for our alleged free breakfast.

On arrival at the pub, it was surrounded within a dreadful council estate. It was totally unexpeted. We thought it'd be a nice area with it being near Wimbledon. After booking a superior room on the internet, we later found out that the guy had given us a standard room. The sink was far too small and we couldn't have a wash properly. The windows were difficult to open and it was so annoying, especially in the heat. The bed was ok but not long enough. The tv provided a very poor picture quality. Only 2 cups were inside the room. On our second day, we had noticed that somebody had used our toilet paper when we were out for their own convenience. We then had to ask the guy for some more bog paper. Finally there wasn't a cleaner and no clean towells were provided.

Closed down mid 2009. Of the four pubs that were previously in or around the Cambridge Road estates - the Cambridge Arms, the Duke, this and the Peel - only the Peel remains.

Toothless men, toothless women and kids that resemble some form of early caveman in appearence. All in all a truely horrid place that resembles the 9th pit of Hell....

Never ever go in here unless your packing heat

Went in here once in my late teens. Resolved never to go again, and nearly fifteen years later I have stuck to my guns.

Reading the reviews here I see nothing has changed.

My late paternal grandfather was always quick to point out that it was a great pub once, when it stood proudly in a sea of proper red brick two-up two-downs - but since his time, the Cambridge Estate was built literally all around it and closed it off from passing civvy trade. It's obvious too - a lone brick structure in a sea of 60s concrete.

seem to be a lot of kids and under- age drinkers in here, not a pub i would go to for a drink EVER again!! reminded me of the pub on only fools and horses...you know 1960's decor, nuff said...

Abandon hope all ye who enter here. Inside the purlieu of the Cambridge Road Estate, the Royal borough of Kingston Upon Thames's very own bit of urban deprivation, the Bull and Bush is a two-bar estate pub without even Kronenbourg to its credit. Of five people at the bar, two were wearing baseball caps. Here, the men are men. And the women? They are men too.
On the way home I was treated to the edifying sight of a shirtless man, driven to madness by the yobs on the estate, screaming in the middle of the road. Why this is Hell, nor are we out of it.
