Fairly large pub in heart of student Nottingham. Doesn't excuse the bland beer.

The Grove is a cracking pub set in the heart of Lenton.
A trouble free venue with sky sports, pool table, dart board, and quality affordable food and drink. In here you get a great mix of students and locals, I was in on my own recently and had a great laugh with the friendly bar staff. well worth a visit if you're in the area. Oh and there's a cracking function room which I have hired for free recently!

Full of students like all of Lenton. If you're a student that's fine. Beer ok at best.

The beer is not great. Staff are friendly enough, and so are the locals. Grove is an experience to be missed, unless you like to be tortured. Do not try to climb on the hanging baskets outside, they will fall off, trust me ......

Nice pub, packed on weekends - typical of the area in that its very studenty. Cheap food, although other places have cheaper beer. Takes ages to get served though.

Good, cheap beer. Pleasant atmosphere; yes they do have bar billiards. Haven't tried the grub but menu is cheap.

It's all right in the afternoon when it's quiet but tends to fill up with students in the evening.
The beer isn't that good.
At least they have football and pool in the large upstairs room keeping the downstairs relaxed.
I think there might be bar billiards in here but I'm not too sure. I know I've seen one somewhere during the past couple of months.
You can sit outside and watch the traffic go round the roundabout.

Reasonbly sized pub that gets a mixed crowd in.
2 or 3 cask beers available.
