As soon as Ken Livingstone offered free bus travel to the under-16s, this place was doomed - there is no way the Queen Vic could compete with the range of walls to graffiti and opportunities for violence that public transport offers. I heard that news of the closure prompted bigger street parties than were seen on VE Day. I strongly believe that this place should remain undeveloped and serve as a memorial and a reminder that the people of south London never let something like this happen ever again. The Queen Vic � Shit Bin Extraordinaire, lest we forget.

Used to live a mile away but moved then drove past recently, very pleased to see this disgrace is to be destroyed. does anyone know if a new pub is to be built?

i work in this pub it has changed so much andnow is an excellent pub looks dingy from outside but is excellent atmospher and the new owners now have finally kept this pub alive by chucking out the rif raf and making it pub to have a drink and listen to music and play pool in not like the old reputation of when you had to bring your boxing gloves along its unbelieavable the change and i invite anyone to come and prove me wrong

This place is definately on the up. Visited last week and the new landlords Mike and Annie have really made it a better place to go. The place is a lot cleaner and the food is good. A lot of the old regulars are going back and the idiots seem to be leaving.

Driving by and I have never seen a bleaker, nastier pub! The car park is full of potholes, fly-tipping is common place and litter is everywhere except in the litter bins provided. And, that is before I stepped in this pub. The stench of smoke is overpowering, the pissed up idiots who were sitting up at the bar, were spouting obscene racist language about the convenience store next door. The pub is falling apart and the lager is cheap, flat and tasteless! This place is to be avoided even during the daytime. Never seen more thugs, ranting and raving about illegal immigrants, their beloved Chelsea FC and how all police are 'corrupt, time wasters.' God, I will never step foot in the place again! Victoria House and this pub should be demolished as this place, is my vision of HELL!!!

This remains probably the single worst shit bin in the Borough of Sutton. Infamous with the local Police. Also best to avoid the 7/11 style shop next door as the punters from the boozer regularly go in there for a pack of 20 B&H and a bit of racial abuse. I would rather fist myself with a glass mitten than go anywhere near this pub.

Since the end of august when the new landlords ad and jess took the pub over i think the total atmostphere has changed for the better if you visited this pub before this time you should revisit and see the difference.

I drink in the queen victor and i am neither a racist, a drug user nor a piss head. Yes i do agree that there are idiots that drink in there that do let the pub down, but there are also some very nice people. I'm not saying it's the best pub, far from it, but don't all pubs have there problems!!!

COME ON SUTTON COUNCIL -- Wake up and smell the coffee -- THIS PLACE SHOULD BE RIPPED DOWN!!! The building is downright ugly so are the people who frequent this place with their poisonious, racist views. If this pub was to disappear, North Cheam would be a much, much nicer place to live in. Sadly, I do not think this place will disappear anytime soon, as it keeps the police very busy and the thugs out of prison! Drink is cheap and downright awful!!

Great place to have loads of drinks, get drunk, get a kebab or two, smash up the neighbourhood, abuse people, spray some graffiti and then sleep it off later. This is a great place to get pissed! The people who visit the Vic are real people who know how to have a good time!!!

The biggest hell hole in South London!!! Full of racist and sexist thugs who are not afraid to pull a few punches, pull out a machete etc. This pub is full of the nastiest individuals on this earth. The landlord is a joke -- is trying to make it more upmarket by only catering to the 21 and overs -- NO CHANCE!!!

only been in once but it was the most bizzare night of my life. The 5 foot barmaid punching out a six foot regular and flooring him. Other regulars getting involved and then the police being called at 11.30 to nick the bloke who didn't have the sense to go home and started on other people. doesn't sound that strange nut the whole place had a surreal fell to it. i can safely say I'll never set foot in there again.
