This pub serves very good Tai food and my wife and I used to enjoy eating in the restaurant. However the restaurant has evolved into a Denizen. An example is that we were made to feel unwelcome when we attempted to enter the restaurant. A member of staff told us that the restaurant wouldn't be open for another hour. However there was a young woman eating a meal and it was approximately 8pm. We were told that we could order a meal in the pub area. Also one of the regular users of the pub told us that we (non Thai people) were not welcome in the restaurant. This is unacceptable practice and is unethical.

one of only two pubs i've ever rated at ten.

Lot of solitary chaps from estates around nursing pints and minding thgeir own business. Sports on TV was unbelievably loud. The barman was great and v friendly. Push of a bell behind bar and Thai "waitress" appears - great food, v authentic. Would def go back if in Paddington. No real ales on tho - Boddy's was fine but would be great to have one decent ale

Interesting place in an impressive location, head for the beer garden and you can imagine yourself as James Caan in the party scene from Rollerball. Standard array of drinks, friendly staff and clientele quite a comfortable location to sink a couple of drinks.

Nice little pub. Good screens with Sky. Food a tad greasy. Landlady is hip, Nigel a bit square. Fine.

We went there for a lunchtime meal when the Monkey Puzzle was full.
My colleges and I were disappointed with the quality of the food, specially the mushroom (out of a tin) and the watery, sugary ketchup.
Served by the nonchalant bar staff, the food was cheap, but miserly in proportions.

What a great little boozer. Stumbled on it (literaly) on a pub crawl. Good atmosphere helped by the laidback landlord. Well worth a pint.

this is a nice little pub. As it is at the bottom of a council estate we assumed it would be a bit naughty, but it turned out to be an oasis. We gatecrashed a german private party in there and had a good laugh. Nice service, nice thai food - laughing
