Balcony Bar, Dundeeback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
The Balcony has recently opened under new management. Revamped and re-titled, 'Balcony', the pub now offers guests a warm and friendly atmosphere in the downstairs lounge with chilled out music of all kinds. Guests are presented with a moody discotheque feel upstairs where later at night, Dj's produce some excellent alternative beats until 2.30 am at the weekends and a Rock/Metal Sunday, also til 2.30 am. Definitely worth a look in

Looks like a dive, haven't a clue when it's open and the staff are easy pissed off. However there is metal so that's a plus for me (Avoid this place if you don't like to rock) and the food is cheap if they're doing it. A good place for those who like that scene, a hell hole for the rest of the world.

Good pub for quiet afternoons, with a decent juke box and a pool table upstairs. when i was a student in Dundee, the barman would sometimes play our cds if the place was quiet.
|
good for rock gigs, nothing else, shithole for drinking in
|
drab atmosphere, vitually zero decoration and quite unfriendly bar staff who tend to favour the regulars. baffling opening hours.

The place to be to listen to classic metal and also loads of other alternative s**t to rock out too. Really cheap before 8 as well.
