One of the most unwelcoming pubs I've ever been in, from the large aggressive dog that runs at you barking, to the barman who lacks basic manners "please and thank you" are not too much to ask when you as a customer are putting money into the till surely? to the rising damp on the walls and the toilets that look like they have not been cleaned in years with broken tiles on the walls to the bar staff who stand indoors smoking this pub has all the elements for a bad night out.
After all of that at least the beer quality was OK but would not drink in this place again under any circumstances.

Very much a "locals" pub, and they seemed happy... ah bless. rather unwelcoming though for a non-local. they have what looked like some nice real ales, but they didn't taste like they should do.
One doesn't expect great things of pub toilets, but wow, these are bad, if Thames water where to have a 'blow back' it may even do some improvements.

Thought i would try the pub again and omg its got worse, i cant believe it, it never was like this before.

Late Sunday afternoons is great in here. Free pool table and normally a decent crowd for killer or a knockput tournament. Very friendly.
|
Crikey, came in here a few Saturdays ago - the smell of body odour and flatulence was horrendous!! Landlady was drunk as a lord. Appears to have gone well downhill.
|
Still the best pub in this part of town for friendly locals. Darts and pool teams restarted, occassional Saturday live music, free pool Sundays and cheap beer.
|
pub generally dirty, lady behind the bar who I can only assume is landland as in her pjs looking hungover. i have heard before that the landlady is always drunk at this pub, and the daytime pjs proved this. Locals really nice bunch but let down massively by management or lack of. Cheap beer though which is always a plus

Visited the Beehive in Aldershot found the toilets dirty seating and bar covered in dog hairs,Dirty glasses and just as i was about to leave the landlady appeared drunk and rude to the only two customers in the bar. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Very friendly landlady, always has been everywhere she goes!!

This pub has been under new management since 01/05/09, and the new landlady is friendly. Along with the standard range of Green King produce, there is also flavoured sambuca and Hardy & Hanson's Olde Trip, which is served from a barrel in the cellar. There is a weekday happy hour from 17:00 to 19:00, with draught beers at GBP 2:20 and deals on shots on evenings when there is a function on. The pub has a large garden where families are welcome, and a sheltered smoking area with lights and music.

Great it has reopened with really friendly landlady. Real ale pumps going in next week. Much more welcoming than Terry and let's hope its a big success. Well worth a visit. (real ale straight from the barrel until the pumps are in)

Under new management.....not been there personnally but heard bad reviews from people who have.

Quite smart inside if a little sparse and the toilets are clean too. Unfortunately, no real ale, and very few customers on a Saturday night.

crappy toilet but other than that nice friendly staff and locals. good entertainment sometimes
