Great location and pub has jovial atmosphere full of locals, but the bar service was extremely unfriendly. It seemed to be a great inconvenience to serve us, and not even an acknowledgement, much less a thank you when we returned our glasses to the bar upon leaving. I hear the pub has recently been taken over by new tenants, so hopefully the sort the appalling service out.

Great local, thankfully I live within walking distance. Knocks all other Crowborough pubs into a cocked hat. 4-5 Harveys ales usually available with the odd guest ale, well worth a visit. Can get packed on music nights/special events though so if quiet is your thing then go on a weeknight.

This pub is superb just let down by unfriendly landlord who appears to be running it for himself. Maybe he was just in a bad mood but that really is no excuse to a customer. Ended up with money put on the bar instead of in my hand, really strange.
The Harveys is great and would love to go back but my experience sadly puts me right off. Beware!

The Wheatsheaf Jarvis Brook and the Wheatsheaf Crowborough are one and the same

Harveys Brewery house tucked away and not far from Crowborough Station. Timber clad building, split level and stone floors.
