This pub is rapidly becoming a very popular venue in Hanwell. Since Ryans got taken over and Duke of York has changed management, Pat has turned this place round. No trouble in this venue. Tuesday quiz night, Thursday karaoke, Friday disco and karaoke, Saturday music or performer, and Sunday is usually a themed night with a performer or group on stage. Shows all major sporting events. Smoking room at the rear. Yes, it has local people but that's because they like it. Friendly atmosphere.

This is a nice pub, although i haven't been in here for about five months and rumours occur its being taken over. I don't know i don't tend to drink here.

JUST BACK FROM THE STATES AFTER 9 MONTHS.WHAT IN GODS NAME HAS HAPPENED TO THE PLACE?
|
Went for an after-hours drink in here and it was great. Sandwiches given out and a good bunch.
Scarily though, you can walk past this boozer at 9am and be guaranteed to see at least one geezer at the bar nursing a pint.

Hadn't been in for a while its still lively some of the customers have been sitting in the same spot for ten years not sure if they real or statues. Great characters in there great crack many nutters but also many friendly ordinary people enjoying a good pint and the conversation of friends. Not quite as good as when Eamonn Pat and of course Joan was there but still a happy spot.

Great little bar, lively karaoke and friendly bar staff. Great value drinks - run by fantastic people.
|
Great little place. Very friendly atmosphere and full of helpful regulars and staff. Beer was nice and cheap too.
We went there before and after the rugby. They sorted out our taxis and even cooked up some food for us (free of charge!). Also in the evening they had the karaoke on. Apparently they do free dinners on certain days as well.

make sure your wearing your stabproof vest when you go in this one

Typical Irish pub, filled with nutters, in a particularly grotty part of town too!!
If you do have the misfortune to wander in here, avoid eye-contact with everyone - even the bar staff!!

Good beer at nice prices, Small, Not a lot going for it

Very small and smoky. Cliquey atmosphere among regulars a little scary for newcomers but the Guinness is as good as you'll get anywhere and reasonably priced.
