Stopped off on the Wandle Way.
No real ale.
So a very reasonable Stella at £3.60. Very friendly owners, who made me feel welcome.

A lovely friendly boozer. Great function room which unbelievably is free to hire. Tasted most of the draught beers and gotta say a great beer compared to most pubs around here. Land lord steve and karen are great really helpful and welcoming. Great friendly staff. Karaoke is always a good night there.

i would rather drink my own piss than drink in here !!

Oh dear. Bright red & white inside, devoid of all atmosphere. John Smiths smooth. Smattering of locals who tank up on lager tops. Avoid

Stopped here recently half way through walking the Wandle Trail. Very friendly old fashioned 'irish' boozer, like a throw back to the 1970's! Drunk guy singing! Good pint of guinness and snacks on the bar.

First visit to the pub last night, andfound it to be very friendly. The barman Noel was great, he made us all(group of 5) very welcome and want a return visit. There was vey good live music on which added to a good evenig out.

the surrey arms. used to have decent music on a saturday night. now taken over by new people who havent a clue on how to run it. a shame to see it go the way it has.

The Surrey, is a great pub. Friendly atmosphere, and good drink. Its sad now to see John and Kathleen go, we had some good times over the last 8 years. We all wish the both of you the best of luck in the future, and good luck in whatever you choose to do. Take Care. From all the customers!

This is one of the best pubs I have found in Surrey. Top class for service and atmosphere.

i couldnt agree more with the comments from cth. this truly is a gem of a pub, the likes of which are fast dying out. the atmosphere is truly the friendliest i have ever come across in all my years of boozing. john and kate will be sorely missed should they ever up sticks!
