Came back to discover a beer garden for the hot weather. The wi-fi works outside too. Heaven. The table football is still at the entrance too. And the girls look even better.
My tip = Make use of the Happy Hours, 4-6pm. Just 34 Czech crowns for a large Czech beer.

Excellent!
The beer, the food, the girls, the customers, the atmosphere. All excellent.
Cheap. Quality. Fun. From 11 am in the morning until around 2 am (we left so late one night i can't be sure).
A real fun Czech pub restaurant.

Had a proper Saturday session here at the wekend just gone. 25 of us. From 4 until closing. Think it was 2am the last of us left.
Proper laugh. The girls working there are a real laugh. Plenty of shots shared.
We also met groups of Russian girls and American girls. Very nice!
Jama is a real pub experience in Prague...superb prices and a good time guarenteed if your up for fun

After reviewing JAMA i have to add a bar to the Prague experience. Jama now has 2 more bars. A Steakhouse at Narodni trida and a Bar & Grill near Florenc metro station. If you are staying near these areas i recommend you park up in these places for a good meal and cheap beer.

Beer, beer and more beer plus a double cheeseburger and chips with beer for dessert.
Excellent bar to start the pub crawl off in. Cheap and great tasting.
Lovely girls working and drinking here too.

After 11 years of visiting Prague i still have to put Jama The Hollow at the top of my list of bars to visit.
It is the perfect pub for all occassions. You can come with a big group or as a couple or on your own and have an equally good time.
There are Happy Hours from 4 until 6. The beer is 25 kc. It normally starts from 32 kc.
Free wi-fi is also a big plus.
I suggest a pub crawl of Prague HAS to include Jama.
It's probably the best place to fill your bellies up too.
There is also a bar next door, translates into English as The Stupid Place, which is open until 5 am.

Just had the most fun Christmas lunch with a group of friends at Jama. The girls working at Jama made everything perfect.
That and the never-ending supply of great Czech beer.

We had 3 courses for 250 CZK per head. So great value as well as great tasting.

Can't wait to visit again. Probably New Years Eve. They are charging a paltry 50 CZK entry.

I always look forward to my visits to Jama as i know i will have a good time with really cool staff and regulars. The Czech beers will taste cold and delicious. The food will be ready when i am. (I usually take the 200 g Cheddar Hamburger and fries for 175 Kc) Then at closing time, around 01.30, i will ask for one of the girls to call me a taxi and be back the next day.

JAMA has the right blend of customers for any pub: regulars, from Czech and beyond; and tourists.

The prices are great too considering where you are. I see from a previous review that a beer cost 35 kc. 4 years later and you can have one pint for 32-45. So you can see the value.

I can agree with the friendly staff too. They make the place a fun place to visit.

And they still have wi-fi for me to do some work on.

PS: In 2010 they've added 2 more Jama bars. A steakhouse and a bar & grill.
All 3 are among my favourites in the whole city.

Jama has the best selection of small brewery beers in the centre of Prague. Cerna Hora, Merlin (dark),Lobkowicz, Demon, Rychtar. All amazing. And only 32+ Crowns each large beer.
The food is awesome too. Cheese and bacon burger is a winner! Plus the girls working and visiting look so good.

Returned here after a little break - free WiFi connection for taking the laptop in, or use their own computers. But be prepared to pay much higher prices than the rest of the nearby bars. 35Kc for a Gambrinus, usually around 24Kc everywhere else. Friendly staff though which made up for the prices!

Loads of pubs in Prague sell Budvar. Try U Medvicku (not sure of spelling) next to Narodni Trida for the full range, including the new dark version and an unpasteurised version.

This is an expat pub with very high prices and american style decor. Avoid if you are on holiday here, as you might as well be back home if you are visiting place like this.

One of only a handful of pubs in Prague which sell authentic Budweiser Budvar. Makes it great in anybodies books

Jama is great place to 'grab a beer,' especially in the summer when their patio is open. (Yes, they have a patio!) Their burritos are my favorite.

Oh, and slightly expensive for Prague, but not for all you English types with your dirty pounds.
