well when they say never judge a book by its cover they werent far wrong with this place. once inside you can see why its regarded the best sports pub in fulham with 10 tvs crisp clean larger and from what i hear the guinness is pretty special. if you enjoy your sport and a friendly atmosphere then this is the place for you.

Visited twice in mid Dec 2009. Post game for Chelsea (3 blocks away) was crazy but better than the Slug, Brogans and So Bar right near the grounds. Visited again a few nights later with no game... great night with friendly staff and cold beer where we struck up some nice conversation watching football. Recommended definitely and particularly if you want to watch sports (lots of big screens).

Good choice of drinks if you like lager, but as a bitter man the only option is speckled hen, which is disappointing (esp at 3.50 a pint). Went there for a beer at about 1pm on Saturday. Chelsea were at home. They had the Liverpool game on (there are screens everywhere) and the place was packed - uncomfortably so, so be warned. On the other hand, if the weather is ok there is a great garden. They were doing a pig roast that looked tempting. So a good pub, recommended.

Have just returned from The Morrison after one of the best pub Sunday roasts I've ever eaten. Many pubs have become lazy about their Sunday dinners but Ross, the manager of The Morrison, has snared a chef from Nobu who is going to be worth his weight in gold. A choice of 3 roasts, chicken, beef or pork. I chose the belly of pork, accompanied by beautiful roast potatoes and all the trimmings including crackling that was to die for. Never before been moved to go online to praise a pub dinner but this time it had to be done!!! Oh and the beer seemed fine but I'm not a real ale buff, so I can't enlighten you on that - someone else can review it. :)

There's been a noticeable change to The Morrison recently. The food is better, there are now some big screens (I counted 10 - including one in the garden!) which we had the pleasure of watching some rugby on last weekend. You'd have thought that this would mean the pub is all about sport but somehow it's not. It's comfortable, and homely. If you don't like sport you don't feel like it's shoved in your face, which is a good thing.
The atmosphere is relaxed & none pretentious, something which is hard to find at the moment.
It's now becoming a place that I want to go to more & more, lets just hope The Morrison stays like this, unlike some of the other pubs in the area that seem to have taken their customers for granted - maybe The Morrison can give them a crash course of how to keep decent beer!!!
Keep it up - you've got me hooked!

I love this place. I go quite regularly & I always get a warm welcome. The beer tastes good, the music is always about right, they show sport when necessary but not all the time. I often go to the Poker nights - get beaten but still feel I've had a great night.
They do great BBQ's and apparently they're doing them regularly now.
They're making priority for all rugby matches & I've got my sofa reserved for all the england matches already.
Good decent pub, especially when all the other pubs in the area are trying to be something special when they're really not.
Keep it up!

Had my birthday in here last week and it was brilliant. We were looked after really well by the manager and they did everything they could for us.
They put on a BBQ which we demolished in about 1/2 hour! They even gave us some free shots, mind you we did hassle them into submission!
One of my mates booked their party there that night so I know we'll be going back for sure!!!!

no real ales. only speckled hen on draft, not even cask.
can be far to busy on football days and when rugby or scumball is on tv. only benefit is that it's a friendly place and the guinness is good.

I took a friend to The Morrison for the first time the other night on a week night after several bad experiences at another pub just around the corner. We were looked after really well, it was really cosy, the wine was great and the music was about spot on. It wasn't very busy, only about six other couples but this meant we got friendly table service so we didn't have to move very far!!
We didn't have any desire to leave too early but being a school night we had to.
Def one to go back to - some of the other pubs in the area have something to aspire to!

went to watch the Ireland v England match in there last week and it was absolutely heaving. The atmosphere was great and the staff were serving quickly but you had to fight your way through a haud of lemmings watching the rugby tyo get to the bar! Great atmoshphere, it was about 50/50 English/Irish!
We were just about to leave after the match and then all of a sudden the live music started... we left sometime around midnight, a little bit tipsy - absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was great, the staff & guitarist were really good fun and we're definately going back for the rest of the six nations matches and a lot more than that!
I was amazed to see they were serving food through all of the people that were in there, I had the club sandwich and it was amazing! My friend had the burger and he said it was good. A bit dissapointed that they haven't got any real ales on but when you're drinking Guinness (a good pint mind you) it doesn't matter so much.
All in all, I'm going back, I had a great time. Hopefully it won't be as busy next time though!!

went for sunday lunch as we were told that it wasn't too bad. Food was good, service was good even though there was only one bloke behind the bar and no one else serving (manager?) Definatley going back for some more - problem was , couldn't finish the meal though and saw a lot of plates going back for the same reason!! Decent beer, good chilled out vibe and great food.

Fab pub, great relaxed vibe, all the staff are really friendly and fun. One quick drink turned into about 7 we felt so comfortable drinking in there. New management must be doing something right as there were loads of people in there! Will make it a regular haunt for sure!

Popped in to the Morrison Bar a couple of times since its changed management and think this is now going to be a regular place to frequent! The staff are friendly and like a good laugh. The has now got a lively vibe. The last time I was in there I couldn't get over how chatty all the "punters" are. Its definitely worht going for a couple of drinks either to meet somebody new or catch up with friends. Food is also good, especially the chunky chips!

Went in here on Saturday and can already see improvements under the new management. The bar staff were really friendly, the food from the barbq was great and the overall atmosphere was excellent. This is one to watch over the next few weeks/months as it will just get better and better. Recommend a visit or 2.....
