Went past this pub last night @ about 7 and it was closed. A notice on the door says "Closed untill further notice" As this is the smallest pub in Hounslow I dont think it will be turning into a Tesco any time soon.

How nice it is to be greeted by friendly staff, that are not only sober, but understand the difference between the words Kronenbourg & Cider,This pub although not that busy at the moment will surely take off soon, the food is excellent and reasonably priced, all the sports matches, the new decor has transformed the place, and most important the beer is good,no flat beer here! the new owner is getting it right, having got rid of the idiots, this is turning into a proper local. Keep up the good work!!

I have used this pub for a while to have a pint on the way home and it previously did suffer from neglect. The change of manager has meant that the place has freshened up; there is a good food menu; he puts on music events and screens the boxing and more importantly the service from the staff is excellent.
It has a convivial atmosphere and I strongly recommend that you give it a try.
It is certainly one of the best pubs in the area.

Well what I can say about this pub, it now under new manager, and has been about 10 months.
It retains much of its original pub charm with heavy oak beams, but he has now removed all the old furniture and has replaced it with lovely new furniture and a nice clean wooden floor.
In addition, he has brightens the pub up and it is a pleasure to dink they; while the local are friendly which makes it the perfect environment to be in.
Also has a wide selection of food on offer and it is all homemade, have not try it yet, but will and what I have see of it looks very good. In addition, yes I will try it one day.
There is a relaxed, cheerful atmosphere throughout the pub.
The staffs are friendly and attentive which is nice when you finished hard day at work and always serviced with a smile, such a small thing but means so much.
The real charm about this pub is that you always what to come back. Please keep up the good work. Mike

Recently went to the pub with my wife after about a year or so as we were staying in the nearby etap hotel. We were pleasantly surprised and to a certain degree shocked. We looked around to see if this was the same place we went to last time we were in the area. Old, dirty, smelly carpet is gone and new nice, clean wooden floor in place. My wife absolutely loves the new furniture and they now started serving proper pub food. I had a rib eye steak and my wife had a venison burger.....and all we can say is...food was perfect. For a nice bottle of wine, a steak and a venison burger we paid about 25only. It was a saturday and there was some live music/open mic on as well to add to the atmosphere. Most importantly the staff was absolutely amazing. We talked to a guy who we thought was the manager but later on realised he actually was the owner....great attitude towards customers. Apparantely it is under new management since last couple of months. All in all....we will definitely go in there again. Contrary to the last visit, the place now looks amazing. Hopefully the new management keeps up with the good work.

Unexceptional pub, but not unpleasant. No decent beer. Jukebox too loud, but staff are polite and efficient.

Beers not to bad locals are all friendly but the pub itselfs bit of a bland boring place to go. Watched the england game in there few weeks ago when everyone was in good spirit but most of the time its a pretty depressing place to be. Bar staff were pretty good though polite and welcoming Patio gardens ok but ill agree with strongers below nothing special.

I had a nice couple of pints of Fosters in here on Friday whilst the Gold Cup was on.
There were 2 old couples sitting by the dart board tucking into some pub food, which they seemed to enjoy. The rest of the small pub was seating a rag tail band of afternoon gamblers who were in good spirits watching the racing.
This is a run-of-the-mill old mans pub Nothing special.

A few of us popped in here just after Christmas and found it very pleasant. Not many in there so a quiet pub but service and regulars at the bar were friendly. Stayed until closing after many poor imitations of Phil "The Power" Taylor at the dartboard.
Are the Landlord/lady American/Canadian?

went here in the 80s - still have the bronze tables. nice that some things dont change - thats a compliment not sarcasm

Cheap drinks. Yes. Old man/woman muttering at nearby table. Yes Gun in mouth to blow brains out after my third rancid pint in the most miserable pub in Hounslow. Yes.

Lovely little locals pub. Not long got back from it. The beer was served with a smile and tasted excellent. We were not ushered out quicly at closing time so it makes a change. Will return very soon for a refill.

A great friendly pub. Good quality beer (i didn't feel at all groggy the next day after drinking the draft lager. It is a small pub but everyone is friendly. You feel safe and welcome in this one. Definitely a good pub. (I don't think they have the room to cater for Coach parties though!!!). Highly Recommended.

I visited this pub with friends in June, 2004 and I found the locals more than friendly and a good mix of ages. I'm from the U.S. and I had a great evening---especially at the dart board.
